HYDRAULIC LIFTING SYSTEM DESIGN Engineered for Stability, Longevity, and Control The ShoreStation tandem hydraulic system delivers equal fluid volume to both lift cylinders, producing balanced, synchronized platform movement. This hydraulic circuit automatically maintains platform level throughout the lifting cycle without requiring dual motors or complex mechanical linkages. Rather than wrapping cables around a winding drum, the hydraulic cylinders draw stainless steel wire rope across large-diameter sheaves. This lifting method minimizes cable stress, improves service life, and eliminates common failure modes associated with cable-winder systems. Cables Pulled – Reduced Fatigue & Wear Cables Wound – Increased Mechanical Stress POWER SYSTEM & PERFORMANCE The lift operates on a 24V DC system powered by two 12V marine deep cycle batteries wired in series. This configuration allows the hydraulic power unit to deliver high-torque lifting performance while avoiding costly AC electrical installations and reducing the hazards associated with underwater AC power cables. Optional solar charging systems and battery maintenance solutions help maintain consistent battery performance throughout the boating season. INCLUDED CRADLE PLATFORM This lift package includes the ShoreStation PLF168-164A flat platform cradle kit, a heavy-duty all-aluminum cradle frame designed for wide-beam and larger vessel applications. PLF168-164A Flat Platform Cradle Kit – All-aluminum straight front and rear cradle beams with front-to-back straight spreader tubes. Platform measures 168" wide by 164" long. BUILD YOUR HOIST PACKAGE This unit can be customized in various ways to suit your application. The base system includes two assembled hydraulic lift tubes, the HPU302 hydraulic power unit, and the PLF168-164A flat platform cradle. The HPU302 is enclosed in a powder-coated aluminum housing and includes one dockside switch, two wireless remotes with lockout function, two battery boxes, wire harnesses, and a power cord. BOAT SUPPORT OPTIONS: This model can be equipped with two hull support options. Choose from a single or dual set of ShoreStation 15' Ultra Bunks. 15' ULTRA BUNKS - HA-0306 – This configuration is well suited for single-hull designs including flat bottom, round bottom, and deep-V hull designs. The Ultra Bunk includes two individual aluminum extrusion bunk rails covered with a non-abrasive vinyl. Ultra Bunks are maintenance free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks. DUAL 15' ULTRA BUNKS – This configuration is well suited for pontoon and some cathedral hull designs. The Dual Ultra Bunk kit includes two sets of 15' aluminum extrusion bunk rails covered with a non-abrasive vinyl. Ultra Bunks are maintenance free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks. When installed, each set of bunks is located to the exterior of the cradle and is designed to support the underside of the toons. LOADING GUIDE OPTIONS: Loading guides are optional accessories that can be added to your hoist at any time. They are highly recommended for those in rough and windy areas or for inexperienced drivers. They are designed to assist with loading and parking your boat by providing a visual guide to help keep you centered within the hoist frame. 148" GLIDEPOLE PILE POST GUIDE - HA-0190 – Secures to your entrance pilings to provide a visual aid when centering and landing your boat on the lift. 10' FRONT POST UPRIGHT GUIDES – Helps keep the boat’s bow centered when landing in high wind or waves. Mounts on the front or rear cradle tube to provide full adjustability for a perfect fit. POWER OPTIONS: Optional solar charging systems and battery maintenance solutions help maintain consistent battery performance throughout the boating season. 24V SOLAR CHARGING SYSTEM – This option includes a complete solar charging panel with mounting hardware. Designed for two 12V batteries wired in series (batteries not included). When installed, the solar charging kit provides a maintenance charge during daylight hours. OPTIONAL LIFT TUBE HANGER KIT: The lift includes a hanger kit for mounting the lift tubes to the top of pilings. However, if you require side mounting to the pilings, you may want to add the "Side Mount Hanger Kit". SIDE MOUNT HANGER KIT – This option includes a four-piece hanger bracket kit designed to secure the lift tubes to the side of existing pilings. Brackets are supplied with stainless and brass fasteners. HYDRAULIC EXTENSION HOSES: One of the unique features of this hoist is that the hydraulic power unit can be stored in a location of your choosing. Once your location for the power unit is decided, it is simply a matter of connecting your hydraulic hoses between the pump and the lift tubes. ShoreStation offers standard-length hose sets that are fitted and ready for quick connection. Each hose kit includes two hoses of your selected length. Choose from 5', 10', 15', 20', 40', or 60' hose sets. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This product requires LTL freight delivery or approved local pickup. Assembly and installation are required.
